Neil Siskind: Poetry

Lady Di, I’ve Not Forgotten

Lady Di
the way you’d speak-
the terms you’d use-
they made me weak

Lady Di
the words you’d choose-
to hear their sounds
I’d wait in queues

Lady Di
the thoughts you’d share-
I heard your pain-
it made me care

Lady Di
his love was rotten-
I loved you so-
I’ve not forgotten
